Fatal crash at Bay Area Boulevard on Gulf Freeway; road now open
Tragically, a child passed away and several others were hurt in a multi-vehicle accident on the Gulf Freeway in Webster on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred at Gulf Freeway southbound at Bay Area Boulevard. Many individuals have been taken to hospitals for treatment. According to Webster police, a young child lost their life following the crash. While initial reports suggested multiple vehicles were involved, officials have confirmed that only one vehicle was affected. The freeway was shut down, diverting southbound traffic off at the West Bay Area Boulevard exit ramp. Webster authorities are currently identifying the individuals in the car involved in the accident.
