Fatal crash as car collides with tree on property in Upstate residence, according to coroner
A fatal incident occurred when a vehicle collided with a tree in the front yard of a residence in Anderson County, South Carolina. Dexter Lamont Scott Jr, 30, was identified as the driver of the single vehicle involved in the crash on Highway 81N at Bowen Road. The Anderson County Coroner's Office was alerted to this tragedy at 8:30 a.m. The vehicle hit the tree and stopped outside the home, with Scott found unresponsive. Despite being taken to AnMed for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
