Fatal Crash and Fire in West Lafayette
One individual has passed away and two others have suffered serious injuries following a car accident on US Highway 231 North in West Lafayette that led to a vehicle catching fire. The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-car crash on the 5600 block of North 231 early Monday morning. The car had veered off the road, crashing into a concrete post and igniting in flames. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident and is working to establish the identities of those involved. Assistance from various agencies, including the Otterbein Fire Department and Indiana State Police, was also involved in the investigation.
