Fatal collision with light pole in Champlin
A fatal car accident occurred in Champlin early Sunday morning when a man crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Highway 169 and West River Road. According to Champlin police, the man, identified as 35-year-old Adonis Turner, was driving northbound on Highway 169 when he veered off the road and struck the pole. Despite treatment at the scene, the man tragically passed away. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident, which took place under wet road conditions with no other vehicles or injuries involved. Authorities are yet to confirm if alcohol played a role in the crash.
