
Fatal collision on I-15 in Temecula claims 4 lives, including young individuals
A tragic accident on Interstate 15 in Temecula resulted in the loss of four lives and left two others with serious injuries on Saturday night. The incident, which occurred around 9:30 p.m., involved a black BMW M4 that crossed the center median into oncoming traffic near Winchester Road, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Reports indicate the BMW was driving recklessly before crossing the divider and entering the southbound lanes, colliding with a white Nissan Sentra. The impact caused the BMW to catch fire, leading to the driver being rescued by bystanders and sustaining major injuries. Unfortunately, the three passengers in the BMW, including a 23-year-old woman and two teenagers from Moreno Valley, lost their lives. Additionally, the Nissan driver from Wildomar also passed away from injuries, with his passenger in critical condition. CHP has ruled out alcohol as a contributing factor in the crash and is continuing the investigation, with potential charges pending against the BMW driver.
