
Fatal collision on Bustleton street injures 3
Officials reported a tragic car accident in Philadelphia's Bustleton neighborhood involving four individuals. The crash resulted in the death of a 19-year-old man, while the others were hospitalized due to injuries sustained. The incident occurred when a sedan traveling west on Red Lion Road lost control while merging, crossing into oncoming traffic. After hitting a street sign and some unoccupied paratransit vehicles, all four occupants were trapped inside the car. Emergency responders had to extricate them from the vehicle. The driver and a passenger were taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and are stable, while another passenger is in critical condition at Abington Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, the 19-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in the early hours following the crash. The Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Division is currently looking into the details of the accident.
