Fatal Scooter Crash in Long Beach Claims Man's Life A man who was riding an electric scooter tragically passed away on Saturday, succumbing to injuries he sustained in a collision in Long Beach. The incident occurred when a car struck him on Atlantic Avenue, resulting in his hospitalization and subsequent death five days later. The Long Beach Police Department is conducting an investigation into the details of the accident. According to authorities, the victim was hit by a 19-year-old driver who ran a red light while traveling north on Atlantic Avenue. The victim, who was on the scooter, was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, he unfortunately did not survive.
