Fatal Collision North of Duenweg Claims Life of Carthage Man
A man from Carthage tragically lost his life in an accident that took place at County Road 190 and Newman Avenue, located approximately 50 feet north of Duenweg. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver, identified as 18-year-old Aidden Lambeth, failed to stop at a stop sign around 5 a.m. on Tuesday. As a result, his southbound Ford F-150 veered off the road, overcorrected, overturned, and hit a tree. Despite the impact, the young man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was declared deceased at the scene by Jasper County Coroner James Harrison at 5:32 a.m. The identity of the driver had not been disclosed by the Highway Patrol.
