A fatal collision involving three vehicles occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway, resulting in the death of an Oxnard man and severe injuries to another individual. The incident took place on Friday night at PCH south of Point Magu, where multiple vehicles were reported blocking lanes following the crash. Emergency responders found a 29-year-old man unresponsive at the scene, who was identified as the driver of a Hyundai Elantra traveling northbound when he crossed into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons, resulting in a head-on collision with an Acura TSX. Subsequently, a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 38-year-old woman also collided with the Acura. The man driving the Acura sustained major injuries and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center. The 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The highway was temporarily closed for investigation and later reopened. The California Highway Patrol stated that no arrests were made, and drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
