Fatal Collision Involving Pedestrian on Scooter in Montebello
On Saturday in Montebello, a tragic incident occurred when a person riding a scooter was fatally injured in a three-vehicle collision on N. Garfield Avenue. The Montebello Police Department responded to the scene before 11:30 am. According to their statement, three vehicles were involved in the accident, along with the pedestrian on the scooter. Despite being rushed to LCMC, the pedestrian did not survive. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. A vehicle involved in the crash overturned, and as the investigation continued, Garfield Avenue was shut down between Hay Street and Madison Avenue.
