Fatal Collision in Long Beach
A tragic incident occurred on Friday night in Long Beach where a woman lost her life after being hit by a vehicle near Atlantic Avenue and 36th Street around 9 p.m. Long Beach Police Department confirmed the details of the accident, revealing that a car struck the pedestrian as she was crossing the street. Despite efforts by paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and her identity has not yet been released. Fortunately, the driver involved stayed at the scene and is assisting with the investigation. Police have ruled out speed, distracted driving, and impaired driving as factors in the collision.
