Fatal collision in Harlan County, Kentucky
HARLAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — One person died in a car crash in the Lynch community of Harlan County Sunday, the Kentucky State Police posted. KSP Post 10 received a call around 1:45 p.m. about a single-vehicle collision on KY-160 on Big Black Mountain, they said. A person was trapped in the vehicle while it was on fire, according to initial reports, KSP said. Emergency responders that went to the scene included: "The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available," a KSP spokesperson wrote.
