Fatal collision in Chesterfield leaves one driver deceased and another injured
A fatal head-on collision occurred in Chesterfield County on Thursday resulting in one driver's death and the other being hospitalized. The incident took place on Bailey Bridge Road, just before 5 p.m., with a Chevrolet truck colliding with a Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the Chevrolet lost their life at the scene, and their identity is being withheld. The driver of the Dodge Ram sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Bailey Bridge Road is closed in both directions until approximately 10 p.m. as police continue their investigation.
