Fatal collision: Elderly woman dies in Walmart parking lot accident
An investigation has been initiated following a tragic incident in Baytown where an 86-year-old lady was fatally hit in an auto-pedestrian collision on Monday. The incident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. in a Walmart car park on Garth Road. Law enforcement responded to reports of the accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, they discovered the elderly woman with severe injuries. Despite immediate efforts to save her by bystanders and emergency personnel, she succumbed to her injuries. The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and is aiding the investigation. The victim's identity has not been disclosed by authorities so far.
