Fatal Collision Claims Life of Woman in Centre County
UPDATE: Authorities have confirmed that a tragic incident occurred in Centre County resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to another individual. Spring Township Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Jacksonville Road and the I-80 interchange on Nov. 7 around 5 p.m. A Jaguar station wagon collided with a Ford F-350 towing a camper, causing the fatality and injuries. The injured driver was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center. The Snow Shoe Fire Company shared that a section of Interstate 80 was closed near Bellefonte Exit due to the fatal accident, but has since reopened. Further details are still under investigation.
