In Hutchinson, a tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening when an 80-year-old man, identified as William Christensen, lost his life in a collision between his Kawasaki UTV and a Ford F-150 truck. The collision occurred along Highway 7 close to the intersection with Highway 22, near the eastern city limits. Mr. Christensen was traveling westbound on his UTV when the collision happened with the westbound Ford F-150 driven by an 82-year-old man from Fergus Falls. While alcohol was not a contributing factor for the Ford driver, further details about the cause of the collision are still uncertain. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident, and it is yet to be determined if the Ford driver will face any charges related to the crash.
