Fatal collision between truck and train in Kenosha County.
In Wheatland, Wisconsin, tragically, a collision between a pickup truck and a train resulted in one fatality on Sunday morning. The incident occurred on a private farm service road near County Hwy. W and 45th St., coinciding with a training event at around 10:45 a.m. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office reported that the individual in the pickup truck suffered life-threatening injuries and passed away at the scene. Emergency responders from various fire and rescue departments were quick to arrive at the site. The crash, which also led to the damage of a liquid-filled shipping container on the train, is currently being investigated.
