Fatal collision between semi-truck and SUV on I-71 near Downtown Columbus
A fatal crash occurred in north Columbus early Wednesday morning when an SUV and a semi-truck collided on Interstate 71 North near the Interstate 670 interchange. Tragically, the driver of the SUV, identified as 22-year-old Jahara Tunkara, was pronounced dead. The crash caused both north and southbound lanes to close temporarily while authorities responded.
