Fatal collision between sedan and semi truck in McLeod County.
A tragic incident occurred in McLeod County on Sunday involving a collision between a sedan and a semi truck resulting in the death of a man and injury to a 5-year-old girl. The man, identified as 60-year-old Halvorson Kenneth, was traveling west on Highway 212 in Collins Township, Minnesota, when the collision with the semi occurred just before 8 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Kenneth passed away at the scene. The semi truck had four occupants - a 39-year-old man, a 37-year-old woman, a 7-year-old boy, and the injured 5-year-old girl. The girl, the only one hurt in the crash, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
