Fatal collision between motorcyclist and vehicle in South San Jose
A tragic accident occurred Thursday morning in San Jose, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist who collided with a vehicle. The incident took place around 6:47 a.m. at the intersection of Senter Road and Sylvandale Avenue in South San Jose. According to the San Jose Police Department, a 2015 Chevy Camaro was struck by a 2004 Harley-Davidson as it was making a turn, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, an adult male. The driver of the Camaro stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The name of the motorcyclist was not disclosed pending notification of family members. This marks the 10th fatal collision and traffic fatality of 2025 in the area.
