Fatal collision between motorcyclist and school bus in Fayetteville per police
A fatal collision involving a school bus and a motorcycle occurred in Fayetteville early Friday morning, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist. The incident took place at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Andy Street around 7:40 a.m. The bus, operated by Cumberland County Schools, was headed south on Bragg Boulevard while the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction. The collision happened when the bus attempted to make a U-turn and was hit by the motorcycle during the turn. The motorcyclist, identified as Antonio Topp, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. Thankfully, the bus driver and two students on board were unharmed. The police are investigating the incident and have not announced any charges at this time.
