Fatal collision between cyclist and SUV in Boulder County
Authorities are investigating a tragic collision that occurred in Boulder County on Friday evening, involving a bicycle and an SUV. The incident took place on US 287 and Boulder County Road 4, just north of Longmont. Sadly, the bicyclist, a young man in his twenties, lost his life in the crash with a 2006 Honda SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 50-year-old individual, cooperated with officials at the scene. Currently, no citations have been issued, as the circumstances leading to the crash are still being examined. The Boulder County Coroner will release the identity of the deceased cyclist once the next of kin has been informed of the tragic event.
