Fatal collision between car and pedestrian in Topeka
A tragic incident occurred in east Topeka resulting in the loss of one individual after a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The Topeka Police Department, Topeka Fire Department, and American Medical Response swiftly responded to the incident which took place near Southeast 15th Street and Southeast Adams Street on Monday, August 18, around 9:30 p.m. Despite efforts to transport the man to a nearby hospital, he unfortunately passed away. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
