Fatal Car Crash on Broadway in Knoxville
A tragic incident occurred in Knoxville, Tennessee, resulting in a woman's death when her car veered off the road and hit a bridge support. The Knoxville Police Department is currently looking into this fatal crash which occurred at 8:35 a.m. on Saturday. The vehicle flipped onto its top after colliding with the bridge support on the ramp onto Hall of Fame Drive from Broadway. The driver, a woman who was the only person in the car, was initially taken to UT Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was subsequently pronounced dead. The police department urged drivers to avoid the area after the crash, but by 10 a.m., the ramp was reopened. Crash reconstruction experts are still determining the causes of this tragic incident.
