Fatal car crash near Spring Arbor Township: Woman deceased
Deputies from the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff have reported a fatal three-car collision that took place on Tuesday afternoon in Lansing, Mich. The incident occurred near Moscow Road close to Vrooman Road. It was stated that a 41-year-old woman from Jonesville lost her life in the accident which involved a Mazda convertible she was driving. The woman tried to overtake a pickup truck towing a small trailer on Moscow Road, and while attempting to pass the truck, she collided with a Chevrolet traveling in the opposite direction and also grazed the Ford pickup truck she was trying to pass. The investigators noted that the area where the accident happened was a no-passing zone. The Spring Arbor Township Police Department, Spring Arbor Township Fire Department, and the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff provided assistance at the scene.
