Fatal car crash near Mt. Hamilton on Monday.
A tragic incident occurred on Monday night when a vehicle crashed into a wall on Highway 130 near Mount Hamilton, resulting in one fatality. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash around 8:55 p.m. along Mount Hamilton Road in the Sawtooth Canyon area. Officials determined that a sedan was heading west on the highway, veered off the road, and collided with a culvert and retaining wall before catching fire. Sadly, the individual inside the vehicle did not survive. The identity of the person has not been released by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office.
