
Fatal Car Crash Injures Five - KWKT
In Grimes County, TX, a tragic vehicle accident on Friday afternoon resulted in one fatality and injuries to five individuals. The collision occurred on State Highway 6 at County Road 303 when a southbound 2001 Ford Explorer crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 2024 Volkswagen Tao. The Ford Explorer carried Robin Conley, 30 years old, and two young girls aged 2 and 6. Tragically, Robin Conley lost her life at the scene, while the children were taken to Texas Children's Medical Center in Houston with minor injuries. The three occupants of the Volkswagen, including driver Maria Tellez-Lapuente, 50 years old, suffered injuries. Maria was taken to Memorial Hermann with serious injuries, while the other two passengers, Gabriela Tellez-Lapuente, 19 years old, and Jimena Tellez-Lapuente, 22 years old, were transported to St. Josephs in Bryan for treatment of minor injuries. Authorities continue to investigate this accident.
