Fatal car crash in Colchester claims pedestrian's life
A fatal accident occurred in Colchester on Saturday evening when a pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection of Malletts Bay Avenue and Young Street around 8:52 p.m. The pedestrian, a male whose identity is not disclosed pending family notification, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old male. First responders found the victim unresponsive, and despite resuscitation efforts by bystanders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
