Fatal car crash in coastal Georgia claims lives of five family members

The collision took place around 6 am on I-95 in McIntosh County, where one vehicle collided with another heading southbound, causing one of the vehicles to catch fire. The victims in the burned vehicle were identified as Reagan Dougan, 27 years old, and her four children, aged 9, 4, 2, and 3 months. Reagan was driving a rental car from Raleigh, North Carolina, to meet her husband in Florida, who has been informed of the tragic incident. Another passenger in the second vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment. In a separate incident, an 18-year-old lost his life in a single-car crash in Middleborough early Sunday morning, which left a passenger seriously injured. Emergency services responded to the scene on Marion Road at around 2:37 am after receiving reports of the collision with a tree. Bystanders helped rescue the injured passenger, who was then rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
