Fatal car crash claims 2 lives, including Fort Worth business owner, on bus headed to Mexico

A tragic incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when a bus traveling from Fort Worth to Mexico was involved in a collision with a stolen car on I-35 in San Antonio. The collision resulted in the death of two individuals and left 18 others injured. The stolen Chevrolet Camaro was speeding on the southbound lanes when it crashed into the bus, causing it to hit a concrete barrier. Following the initial impact, an 18-wheeler collided with the bus, causing it to overturn and eject passengers. The victims of the crash ranged in age from children to senior citizens. It was confirmed that Jose "Tito" Guerra, the owner of Fort Worth-based bus company Transportes Guerra for two decades, was among those killed in the accident. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus reported that four occupants of the stolen Camaro fled the scene, with one individual armed with an AK-style rifle. Authorities are urging anyone with information or concerns about relatives who may have been on the bus to contact Transportes Guerra at 830-319-5168. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing, and the identity of the second individual killed in the crash has not been disclosed yet.
