Fatal car crash at gas station in Fayette County
A tragic incident in Menallen Township, Fayette County resulted in a woman losing her life and a man being hospitalized after a collision on Route 40. Madison Porfilio, 23, from Washington, Pa., was pronounced dead at the crash site. Reports indicate that Porfilio was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Tuesday near the mall in Uniontown. The vehicle collided with a sign at a Kwik Fill gas station, causing both Porfilio and the driver to be ejected from the car. Witnesses were shocked by the impact, with one neighbor, Travis Musgrave, expressing concern over the frequency of accidents in the area and urging drivers to slow down. Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the incident.
