Police were called to the scene on the I-90 East spur leading to I-271 South after reports of a vehicle leaving the road and plunging into the wooded area. Responding officers discovered an overturned Lexus with a man stuck inside. The rescue effort was hindered by thick vegetation. The 55-year-old male driver, who hails from Tacoma, Washington, was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
