Fatal Car Accident on I-70 near Richfield
A fatal crash occurred on I-70 in Sevier County, resulting in the death of one person. The incident, which involved a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, occurred around 6:41 p.m. on Wednesday near milepost 45, approximately 15 miles north of Richfield. The vehicle veered off the road to the right, rolled several times, and ejected the driver. Despite the efforts of authorities and medical responders, the driver was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Due to the incident, traffic was momentarily halted to allow a drone to assess the scene, with no lane closures reported. The identity of the deceased individual has not been disclosed at this time.
