Fatal car accident on I-10 in Walton County
A tragic incident was reported early Saturday morning in Walton County, Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a fatal crash at 3:30 a.m. involving a 40-year-old male from Greenville, Alabama, who was driving a semi-truck west on Interstate 10. Authorities stated that a white SUV was heading east on Interstate 10 when, for reasons unknown, it veered across the center median and came to a stop in the outer westbound lane. The oncoming semi-truck was unable to avoid colliding with the SUV. Sadly, the driver of the SUV, a 45-year-old man from Snellville, Georgia, was pronounced deceased by FHP following the collision.
