Sadly, one pedestrian lost their life, while the other sustained injuries. The accident occurred near 12th Avenue and East 21st Street after the pursuit was called off. The vehicle involved in the chase continued recklessly and collided with the pedestrians, a man and a woman. Despite efforts by police and medical personnel, the man passed away at the scene, while the woman survived and is now in stable condition after being discharged from the hospital.
