Fatal car accident in Green Township as woman hits tree after crossing median
A woman tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash in Green Township on Thursday evening. Karen Schehr, 61, of Green Township, passed away after her vehicle veered across the median and struck a tree on Anderson Ferry Road. The accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. Schehr had to be rescued from her 2016 Kia Sportage and was rushed to University of Cincinnati Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, and authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have been factors.
