Fatal car accident in Attleboro leaves one man dead
A man has passed away following a solo car accident on I-95 South in Attleboro on Sunday evening. Fire Chief Scott Lachance reported that emergency responders were called to the scene near Exit 2 around 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle rollover into the woods. Upon arrival, they discovered a 69-year-old man trapped and unconscious in the overturned car. The man had to be extricated from the vehicle using special tools and was then transported to the hospital with CPR in progress. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
