Fatal boating collision on Norris Lake in Union County
A tragic boating accident on Norris Lake in Union County, Tennessee resulted in one fatality and two injuries on Saturday morning. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is looking into the collision that occurred near the Highway 33 Bridge at around 8:30 a.m. The agency confirmed that there were two individuals on each boat involved. Despite initial uncertainty about one person's whereabouts, a search led to the recovery of the missing person's body. The investigation by TWRA is still in progress.
