Fatal boat collision in Brevard County St. Johns River, confirmed by FWC.

Two individuals tragically lost their lives when they were thrown into the St. Johns River during a collision between two boats on Sunday. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission swiftly responded to the incident on the east side of the river, where four individuals fell into the water as a result of the crash. One boat's operator and passenger were unharmed, while the other boat's operator and passenger sadly passed away. The female passenger, aged 32, was found unconscious and later died after being taken to a nearby hospital. The operator, a 29-year-old man, was also declared deceased after being recovered by search teams the following day. Various agencies, including law enforcement and fire departments, responded to the scene. As of now, the victims have not been publicly identified, and no new information on the investigation or potential charges has been released by the authorities.
