Fatal bicycle crash in North Kingstown
Authorities in North Kingstown, Rhode Island are investigating the death of a bicyclist who was discovered deceased on Saturday afternoon. North Kingstown police responded to a call about a bicycle accident at the intersection of Potter Road and Essex Road just before 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 71-year-old man from Warwick who was unresponsive. The man was transported to Kent Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police believe the man was alone at the time of the incident and do not suspect any foul play or involvement of another vehicle. The department is asking anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to reach out to them directly.
