Fatal ATV Crash in Allendale Township
A tragic incident occurred in Allendale Charter Township, Michigan, as one individual lost their life and another was hospitalized following a rollover crash on Saturday night. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place around 9 p.m. when a 43-year-old man from Grand Rapids was operating an ATV on South Cedar Drive. Unfortunately, he was unable to navigate the turn onto 90th Avenue, causing the ATV to veer off the road and overturn, resulting in the driver being thrown from the vehicle. Despite the efforts of first responders, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger, a 22-year-old from Muskegon Heights, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the crash, and anyone with pertinent information is urged to reach out to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
