Fatal ATV and car collision in Warren County.
A man lost his life in a tragic accident on River Road in Thurman. The Warren County Sheriff's Office reported that the collision involved a pickup truck and an ATV, resulting in the death of David Mahler, aged 57 from Warrensburg. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on July 6 when a 76-year-old man from South Carolina was exiting Glen Hudson Campsites in his 2013 Ford F-250, turning onto River Road. At that moment, Mahler, riding a Suzuki King Quad 750, collided with the truck. Unfortunately, Mahler was not wearing a helmet and was tended to by Warrensburg EMS before being airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where he later passed away due to his injuries. The Warren County Sheriff's Office's Traffic Safety Unit is currently investigating the crash.
