Fatal ATV accident in McCreary County leaves 2 dead
A tragic incident in McCreary County resulted in the deaths of two individuals, a 74-year-old man named Roger Stanton and a 77-year-old woman named Linda Moncrief, following a collision involving an ATV. The accident occurred at the 10-mile marker on US 27 in Parkers Lake. Additionally, a white Toyota Highlander was involved in a separate incident before colliding with the ATV. Moncrief's son was also injured in the crash and airlifted to UK Hospital for treatment. Kentucky State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
