Fatal ambulance crash claims life of Virginia EMT

A Virginia EMT tragically lost his life in a collision involving a dump truck and an ambulance on Route 360 in King and Queen County on Thursday morning, as confirmed by the Virginia State Police. The spokesperson for the Virginia State Police stated that the accident occurred when a dump truck attempted to cross over and cut in front of the ambulance traveling on Route 360. The ambulance was not en route to an emergency call and did not have any patients on board at the time of the crash. At present, the identity of the ambulance driver has not been disclosed. Witness Jordan Brooks described the scene of the crash as filled with numerous first responders, leading to a heart-wrenching sight. Amidst the chaos, Brooks and her children immediately turned to prayer upon realizing the severity of the situation. Thoughts and prayers were extended to those affected by the incident, including the families of all involved and the emergency responders present at the scene. One passenger was taken to the hospital, while the dump truck driver was also transported for medical treatment. The crash, which occurred around 6:50 a.m., is currently under investigation.
