Fatal aircraft incident in Torrance County
One person has died and another has been hospitalized following a plane crash in Torrance County, New Mexico. The incident occurred around noon on Tuesday near McNabb and NM 41, where emergency crews responded to a field where the plane had crashed. The impact knocked down power lines and poles, causing power outages in the area. Authorities have determined that the crash was due to engine failure. The survivor was transported to a hospital in Albuquerque, with their condition unknown at this time. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified about the crash.
