Fatal Accidents Claim Lives of Emergency Responders and Volunteer at Hartshorne Event
Emergency management officials from Pittsburg County have sadly confirmed the passing of a volunteer on Friday and of two emergency responders on Saturday at the H-Town Throwdown drag racing event in Hartsthorne. The volunteer passed away on Friday night while assisting with event setup, and the two responders lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident at the festival on Saturday. The announcement was made on the McAlester-Pittsburg County Emergency Management Facebook page and other relevant local pages. The identities of the deceased individuals were not disclosed.
