Fatal accident with several motorcycles

Over the weekend in Vermillion, Ohio, a fatal accident involving several motorcycles and a pickup truck took place. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a motorcyclist tried to pass two other motorcycles but ended up colliding head-on with the truck. This incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, on State Route 511 in Ashland County. The motorcyclist, identified as Noah David Carmel Rogers, 27, from Shreve, Ohio, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene after hitting the truck. Another motorcyclist was also thrown from their bike but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries. The presence of emergency responders closed State Route 511 for approximately 4 hours as the accident was investigated. The authorities continue to review the details surrounding the incident.
