Fatal accident shuts down Nash Street in Wilson as woman dies in car collision with pole
The Wilson Police Department is investigating a tragic accident that resulted in the death of one individual and the closure of a road for several hours on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred at Nash Street and Ward Boulevard near Wawa and Walmart. Emergency crews arrived on the scene to find the driver, 33-year-old Keaja Briona Deshe Stokes, deceased after the vehicle collided with a utility pole.
