Fatal Accident on U.S. 15 Sunday Morning
Two people lost their lives in a tragic crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Dorchester County, South Carolina. The accident, which occurred around 5:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 15 near Old Spell Road, involved a 1997 Chevrolet Pickup truck. According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the pickup truck was traveling south on U.S. 15 when it veered off the road and collided with a tree. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger was airlifted to a nearby hospital but succumbed to their injuries. The incident is currently under investigation.
