Fatal Accident on Raymond Road
A tragic incident took place in Hinds County, resulting in the loss of two lives in a collision on Raymond Road near Robinson Road Ext. Byram police had been responding to an alleged robbery at a Dollar General in Terry when an officer spotted a suspect in a gold Ford Explorer. The officer attempted to stop the suspect, who then fled. Regrettably, the suspect's vehicle crashed into a gray Nissan Altima around 10:30 a.m., leading to the fatalities of the driver and passenger in the Altima. The suspect has been apprehended by authorities.
